Navy Bean and Cream of Broccoli soups today

Texas beef, prime rib, baked chicken and mushrooms and the ever popular Swedish meatballs.

I had half an order of Swedish meatball today and the meatball was so big I literally had to go weigh it. An order comes with two 5ounce meatballs. Holy cow, no wonder a lot of folks tell us they get two meals out of some of our specials.

I remember when I was young someone told my dad our portion sizes were too big. He looked around and then told the guy, That’s why my dining room is full 😂👏❤️

We couldn't have done it without our dedicated volunteers, parishioners, sponsors, vendors, performers, and every single guest who came out to support our community. Your enthusiasm, generosity, and love for Greek Fest made this year one to remember!

Even though we had a lot of rain, we still did amazing, and so many dedicated people came out! Take a look at these stats to see the amazing impact and support we received throughout the weekend. From food and raffle sales to donations, every number tells the story of a community coming together.

We occasionally will get a nice customer who will hand me some money and say, Here, can I give you this to share with your cooks? We see how hard they work and want them to know we appreciate them?
Isn’t that so kind? And it always means a lot to them.

Today I was thinking about how hard they work on holidays (and yes, I always try and give them a little extra for the extra busy days) and I thought wouldn’t they be surprised if I put out a tip collection jar and let them know how much our customers appreciate them? I’m also leaving paper and pens for notes so if anyone wanted to tell, for example, that they just made the best pancakes in town (they do!) that would be super nice too!

The prime looks amazing today and we are planning on having it tomorrow as well.

We won’t be able to take reservations on Father’s Day but if you are coming with a big group please feel free to give us a call before you drive over and we will put you in the waiting list. That will surely cut down on your wait time.

We’re excited for Father’s Day weekend!

We will start celebrating early by making Roast Prime Rib tomorrow/Saturday! And chef said shockingly he was able to get the prime rib for a good price so it will be at least a couple of dollars less than the last few times we’ve had it.

I say “shockingly” because gosh darn it have food prices been crazy for us…especially beef. Skirt steak prices in particular have been insane. So anyway, prime rib is a bargain relatively speaking so you should definitely pencil us in for the weekend if that’s something you love!
