🔥 Horn Barbecue is coming to Elk Grove! We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with renowned pitmaster Matt Horn which marks start of a transformative chapter for local barbecue.

“This partnership was built on faith—faith in the craft, in the community, and in each other,” said Matt Horn. “Elk Grove deserves more than great barbecue. It deserves a gathering place that fosters connection and belonging. Together, Michael and I are creating that destination.”

Horn Barbecue Elk Grove promises an elevated experience with a full bar, live music, and appearances from some of the nation’s most celebrated pitmasters and chefs. Guests can expect the hallmark flavors that earned Horn Barbecue accolades like a Michelin Bib Gourmand, a James Beard Award nomination, and features in Forbes, The New York Times, and Esquire.

This expansion builds on Horn Barbecue’s recent success in Lafayette. “Lafayette embraced us with open arms,” said Horn. “Now we’re bringing that same energy, quality, and connection to Elk Grove—a community that deserves nothing less.”

Set to open in late February, Horn Barbecue Elk Grove will honor the legacy of Slow & Low while introducing world-class West Coast-style barbecue to the area. Additional details on the menu, guest chefs, and grand opening festivities will follow in the weeks ahead.

To our Elk Grove family,

The past six months have been an incredible journey, filled with challenges, growth, and the joy of serving this wonderful community. Through it all, your support has meant the world to us.

As we look ahead to the New Year, we’re excited to share that we are beginning a new chapter in partnership with a world-renowned pitmaster and chef to bring something truly special to Elk Grove.

Starting January 1, we will be temporarily closing to make the necessary changes for this next chapter. We look forward to reopening with a renewed commitment to the craft of barbecue and the community we cherish.

This is a big step forward, but it’s also a moment for reflection and gratitude—for every meal shared, every story told, and every memory made in our space.
