Big Elk Coffee

10/21/2026

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Salem’s grandmother earlier this week.

Big Elk Coffee will be closed October 22nd–29th as we take this time to travel and be with family.

We will reopen on Friday, October 30th, from 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, with our full menu of drinks, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches!

Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Take-home coffee bags are back in stock! This time we have three great offerings:

- Fall Annuals (brown sugar, golden apple, and fig)
- Mexico Las Tejedoras (dark chocolate, butterscotch, and candied orange)
- Synthesis (dried cherry, and caramel)

We are also now open at 6:30am Tuesday-Saturday, serving drinks and pastries every day and breakfast on Fridays and Saturdays!

This weekend is our ONE YEAR anniversary! 🎉

We have had so much fun growing with you; and are incredibly grateful for all the new friends and consistent regulars who have supported us along the way, even through the winter!

In celebration, on Saturday July 25th, all drinks will be 10% off. As well, if you wear antlers or other “Big Elk” attire you will get an additional 10% off!

We hope to see you tomorrow for the big party! 🎈

Happy 4th of July! We are open normal hours today serving up iced (or hot) drinks and fresh baked pastries!! 🇺🇸

However, we are not serving breakfast today due to the extreme heat.

We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday weekend - see you soon! 🙂

Introducing the ICED AERO - a nitro-style, espresso forward drink. Lightly sweetened with a touch of brown sugar, a dash of milk, then aerated for a creamy finish.

Served ice cold, it’s the perfect drink for this holiday weekend! 🎇
