Hey there, friends!

We’ve got some news to share about our little corner of the world - The Swine Barrel is starting a new chapter! After an amazing time of laughter, chats over the counter, and being part of your lives, we’ve decided it’s time to pass the torch. We firmly believe everything happens for a reason and on Gods timing. This past week we received an offer to sell the Swine Barrel. After much prayer and consideration we agreed to let our little home away from home go into new hands.

Now, don’t worry! We wouldn’t dream of leaving our beloved Swine Barrel in just anyone’s hands. The new owner is a fantastic guy who loves this community just as much as we do. Some may know him already and he’s bursting with excitement to meet the rest of our Swine family and keep the Elk River spirit alive and kicking! ❤️💙

Our original plan back in August of 2022, was to take this community eyesore and turn it into a cozy little place we could all get some good food, hang with friends, and enjoy the good things in life. We believed we have achieved and surpassed that goal! Justin has always had big dreams, and believe me that will never stop!

We can’t begin to express how grateful we are for all the wonderful memories we’ve shared. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support, your smiles, and for making this journey so special. 🫶🏻💚

The official “changing of the guard” will happen next week. We know this is sudden, but this will give the new owner time to get things ready and kick off the new school year/ sports season with another great place to eat some good food and hang with good friends. The Husky Den is coming soon! Let’s give them a warm Elk River welcome, shall we?

You’ve been more than customers - you’ve been friends. Thank you for everything. 🫶🏻

Hey turkey lovers!! You’ll be glad to know that this week we will be back to serving our regular menu Wednesday and Thursday.

🐷We will be closed for a private catering event on Friday.

🐷We will also be closed Saturday due to the projected 102° temps. 🥵

💚We open at 4:00 today. Justin and I are both here, come see us! 💚

Hey there, friends! 😊☀️

Whew, it’s a scorcher out there already! We’ve decided to take a quick breather and close up shop today. Why? Well, we want to make sure our amazing team and wonderful customers stay cool as cucumbers! Yesterday the shop was miserable! We just can’t bring ourselves to man that smoker in these conditions. If you know any kitchen workers, give them a big thank you as they try to stay cool! Kitchen heat on top of 95°+ days are not fun.

We’ll be back to serving up your favorites as soon as this heat wave decides to chill out a bit. In the meantime, why not hang out with our Town of Clendenin friends? I saw that have a HUGE fan for the street festivities and the Clendenin Brewing Co. is opening again today! 🍻

We can’t wait to see your smiling faces again on Wednesday!

Hey friends!! (Please read entire message)

We’re all melting in this heatwave, us included! Unfortunately, our air conditioning isn’t cooperating as much as we’d like right now. We do not own the building, so we just have to roll with it! 🥵

💚While we are still whipping up delicious food in the kitchen (because the show must go on!), we want to be upfront that things might be a bit warmer than usual inside the restaurant. With that being said, we will ONLY be serving one special each day this week and that’s it. We are trying not to die of a heat stroke with all the warmers and oven on. When we are sold out, we’re going home.

💚 On today’s menu is a Cuban sandwich, homemade pasta salad, and a bag of chips for $12. Stop by or call to order!
