I have seen SO much growth the last couple of months, I figured an introduction post was warranted!
Hey guys! I’m Hillary, the one (wo)man show behind The Cookie Jar. I’ve been baking a little here and there my entire life, but most exclusively the last 3 years. The Cookie Jar was born in 2023 to help bring my little family to Disney World and wound up being something my family didn’t know we needed.
God has a way of bringing you to things you never know you’ll need one day. Since opening the business, we have become a full time family of 4 so my days are spent baking and refereeing our 2 girls Noah & Dallas. We run from soccer fields to gymnastics and back again most days, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
I get asked a lot of I have a storefront and the answer is no. I solely bake out of my kitchen at home and produce an INSANE amount of cookies weekly. Long days & early mornings are a bit of a norm but I absolutely love it. I attend any festival and market within Jones County and a few in Hattiesburg.
I do my best to accommodate to all allergy and food intolerances including Gluten, Dairy, Sugar and Egg. I create decorated sugar cookies with buttercream icing, DIY kits for your kids during the holidays, breakfast pastries, cinnamon rolls and off the wall confectionary creations you didn’t know you needed.
My inbox is always open for orders whether they be for a treat for you, special occasion or just an office pick me up.
