We are excited for our grandson and the Ellisville 12U All-Star team as they have made it to go play at the Majors World Series in South Carolina. If you haven't had an opportunity to get your fish plate ticket from one of the baseball players, there will be tickets available for purchase Monday evening (7/21) at Merchants Park (near concession stand) from 5:30-8:00 or at Shelton Baptist Church from 3:30-6:00.

FC’s Last Night

A community staple for 51 years,
So let’s celebrate tonight and maybe shed a few tears.

R.F. first opened the doors up
with his gift of gab, always holding his brown cup.
Soon passed the reigns on to Alice and Scott,
and now we have the infamous Rainey spot.

As the doors open one last night,
Customers will flood in with sadness and delight .
To get one last order of fish and fries, making a few more memories with acquaintances and close ties.

Talk from near and far of the food being delish,
coleslaw, hushpuppies and the most wonderful catfish.
Though the sweetest things to hear
are the memories made with loved ones so dear!

2nd Notice of OWM Closing:
We can't express the joy and sadness we are feeling. I believe we (the fish camp) have the greatest clientele ever! We've heard so many stories from our customers about when the fish camp first opened till now. We have seen four generations of families come and be a part of our lives and we a part of yours.
The outpouring of love and stories is really making it tuff to close the doors of the fish camp.
As our son would say, T-minus 8 days till we close. All of us at the Watermill hope to see you before then.

NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS: After 51 years, the Old Watermill Fish Camp will shut the door to a business that has spanned 3 generations of family.
Old Watermill was opened in October of 1973 by R. F. Lowry and wife, Flo. Their daughter, Alice, and husband, Scott, started helping 3 years later. Then in 1984, Scott and Alice became the sole proprietors.
It was a learning situation. With God in the lead, and lots of help from friends, family and great employees, the Old Watermill continued to succeed.
But now it's time for us to move on. Friday, August 30 will be our last night of business.
