As we begin this new adventure we will always to strive to deliver high quality international foods to you. Lots of items will be on rotation. In addition to our standard menu, this week you will see items such as Saag Paneer, Dhal, Sri Lankan Beef Curry, Mullagatawny Soup, Beet Salad, Chili, Chowders, Asian Noodle Salads, Lemon Pies, Strawberry Cream Cheese Pies, and much more!

So, Palmyra Food Stop has begun. The standard menu together with rotating specials and grab and go items will represent a variety of cuisines. We still got to iron out a few things and are most definetely a work in progress. Feedback and suggestions are much appreciated, together with your patience as we once again try to deliver our best to you in a new location and format. Our commitment to quality food will always remain. We have truly missed each and everyone of you, and look forward to seeing all of you in person.

Linguistics are not my strength, but I am going to have a concise whack at it. My faith has always been very private to me, but as the last week of Serendib begins I want to thank the big guy up there for giving me the very best of everything in life! I have everything I need in life, especially Menemsha, Gabriel, and Natalie without whom Serendib would not be a reality. And , Serendib has given me all of you, to which I am for ever greatful. Until Serendib 2.0 with the grace of god, I say thank you to all of you from the bottom of my heart.

On October 8th ten years ago, Serendib was started as a culinary adventure in downtown Ellsworth. Introducing Sri Lankan cuisine to the Downeast region of Maine has been a pure joy and the reception from the community has been incredible. Being a part of this community has been an absolute pleasure and Menemsha and I would like to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for a memorable 10 years. As we celebrate this milestone, it is with mixed emotions we have decided December 20th will be our last day. It is hard to put into words the love we have for all of you, but it is time for new adventures. As we take a moment to reflect on this time and begin our next chapter here in Ellsworth.
