Hey friends!
First off, I want to sincerely apologize to anyone who came in today hoping to enjoy a meal and was met with the strong fumes inside the shop. The landlord is currently staining upstairs and unfortunately the smell has impacted our ability to safely and comfortably operate.
It’s incredibly frustrating having to write this, but we will unfortunately be closed tomorrow while we work through this situation.
As a small food business, unexpected closures hit differently. It’s not as simple as “we’ll reschedule”.. Food has a shelf life, prep has already been done, and when we can’t operate, those losses add up quickly.
On top of that, my employees — who have families and bills to pay — are unexpectedly missing out on hours they were counting on.
This one really hurts, but we’re doing everything we can and are hopeful we’ll be back open and serving you all on Thursday. Thank you so much for your patience, understanding and continued support. We appreciate you! 🩵
