✈️ If you haven't met Riley yet, today is your chance!

For the past two weeks, our cousin Riley has been visiting from California and jumped right into life at Pilot Pete's. From serving lattes and pulling espresso shots to helping at catering events and putting smiles on customers' faces, he's been an awesome part of the crew.

Today is his last shift before he flies back home tomorrow. ❤️

If you're stopping by for your morning coffee, take a minute to say hello (or goodbye!) and wish him safe travels. He'll be at the shop with Valerie until 1:00 PM today.

Thanks for all your hard work, Riley. We'll miss you, and we can't wait to have you back in Illinois. ☕✈️

What a fun afternoon at the Elmhurst History Museum! We had the privilege of serving refreshing lemonades, our signature Costa Rican cold brews, and plenty of smiles while guests explored the museum's newest exhibit and enjoyed live entertainment.

What a beautiful weekend in Elmhurst! There's something really special about serving our community under the summer sun—good food, great coffee, and even better conversations. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our tent, grabbed lunch, tried our signature cold brews, or simply came over to say hello. You made our weekend one to remember!

🚂💨 THE BIG BOY IS COMING TO ELMHURST! 💨🚂

Tomorrow morning, one of the most legendary locomotives ever built will thunder through downtown Elmhurst!

The Union Pacific Big Boy No. 4014 is scheduled to depart West Chicago at 8:00 AM and is expected to roll through Elmhurst around 8:15 AM.

This isn't just any train.

🚂 Built in 1941
🚂 133 feet long
🚂 Weighs an incredible 1.2 MILLION POUNDS
🚂 One of the largest steam locomotives ever built

If you've never seen a Big Boy in person, this is the railroad equivalent of spotting a dinosaur still roaming the earth.
