In 2010, Joel and Beverly came to visit us in Denver. We ate together at all our favorite spots and talked about what we would do if we opened a restaurant at the Sidetracks location. With just a handshake from Joel, we packed up and moved back to NC to re-open Sidetracks as The Root Trackside.

That was Joel, all we needed was his handshake. He and Beverly were our greatest support.

We will miss you Joel Brown. Your legacy is strong and wide reaching. Love to Beverly and the whole Brown family.
