Dear Kitchen 56 customers, its with a heavy heart that tomorrow Saturday the 27th will be our last day in service. We are extremely grateful for all you amazing customers that have shown your support through these 6 years of service! We honestly couldn't have made it this far without this community! Unfortunately with great success comes even greater challenges, between food tax, yearly tax and ever rising food costs its so hard to make a profit and keep going without overcharging. Kitchen56 does amazing business and we have no one but our amazing staff and community to thank for it. We have tried so many ways to keep the Kitchen open but unfortunately we couldnt find a way. We are so sorry it has come to this point but we are so grateful for you all. Chef Tami wants to extend her gratitude for all the opportunities we have had due to the success of the restaurant due to the amazing community that continues to support us. She hopes to be back someday with the same great recipes you have come to know and love.

Chef Doug has worked in the industry for over 25 years. He graduated from Johnson and Wales University with a Bachelors degree in culinary arts. Chef Doug has worked at top restaurants in Rhode Island, Miami, Washington DC, and Atlanta before returning to his home town in New Hampshire to open Bistro Nouveau. Bistro Nouveau was in operation for 17 years till chef Doug decided to open his new restaurant Kitchen 56.

Kitchen 56 is a smaller 70 seat restaurant with a brick exterior and sits on the river. Chef Doug is excited to be able to bring his talents to Enfield NH and show his culinary passion through his foods. Please join us at Kitchen 56.
