A guest favorite and a dish close to our hearts, the Nicolino is back on special this evening!

This simple yet unforgettable pasta was created by Nicola himself and has been requested ever since it disappeared from our pre-hurricane menu. Featuring spaghetti tossed with garlic, mushrooms, banana peppers, olive oil, and anchovies, it's a dish that celebrates bold Southern Italian flavors and the kind of cooking that doesn't need to be complicated to be extraordinary. Anchovies have long been a staple of traditional Southern Italian pasta dishes, adding a rich savory depth without tasting overly "fishy."

Thank you to everyone who joined us last night—or tried to. Your patience, support, and encouragement during an unexpected power outage meant so much to our entire team.

After a thorough investigation, it was discovered that one of the three power lines feeding our transformer had completely burned out and disconnected. Thanks to the incredible FPL crew, who worked tirelessly through the night, the damaged line was repaired and upgraded with a larger line to better support the restaurant’s electrical needs.

So let’s celebrate together tonight! Join us for your favorite Italian dishes, great company, and the warm Nicola’s hospitality you know and love. Bring your friends, bring your family, and help us turn tonight into a celebration to remember.

One Year Ago Today… ❤️🍝

On May 29, 2025, we unlocked the doors and welcomed guests back into Nicola’s Italian Kitchen for the first time after nearly 21 months of rebuilding, uncertainty, hard work, and hope.

What a year it has been.

There were days when reopening felt impossible. Hurricane Ian took so much from our community, and our little red building was no exception. But thanks to the love, encouragement, generosity, and unwavering support of our family, friends, staff, volunteers, donors, and loyal guests, we found our way back home.

Over the past year, we’ve celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, first dates, reunions, and countless family dinners. We’ve welcomed familiar faces and made new friends. Most importantly, we’ve been reminded every single day why we do what we do.

To everyone who supported us during the food truck days, contributed to our rebuilding efforts, shared our posts, sent encouraging messages, dined with us, ordered takeout, or simply cheered us on—thank you.

This restaurant has always been more than a business. It’s a gathering place built on family, community, and the belief that good food brings people together.

Today, we celebrate one year of being back where we belong.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping write this next chapter of Nicola’s story. We can’t wait to see what the future holds.
