Every year around this time I talk to people that are trying to find ways to thank their customers for their continued patronage. Funny thing is, I also find that a lot of people are saying, "I'm not doing anything, this year… recession you know". Unfortunately when customers see that you are pulling back and being cautious they begin to question whether they should spend less as well which can affect your sales plan. Even when circumstance dictate your frugalness, it's important to continue to thank those regular customers who have proved to be reliable. If you ignore your better customers, they may just find another source.
