In Mississippi having this experience is a rare opportunity but in many parts of the world, tasting menus is what defines the fine dining world. It is a way for chefs to showcase their skills. A way for guests to try flavors & ingredients that they may not have tried before without the risk of paying for a dish that you may not like, because guess what?, there are more dishes coming to try. If I was cooking this menu in California or New York it would easily go for $400+. In New Orleans or Chicago $350+. In Mississippi, you are getting the bargain of a lifetime to experience a dinner of this caliber for half the price you would pay in a big city. Why then? Because I love the challenge.
