For anyone following our page! We will not be producing maple syrup this season. We ran short of time this year to put up our wood to boil and had very wet wood. We will be back next season for 1 last year. Anyone looking for syrup this year, we have about 25/30 gallons left.

We have been boiling! At this time we are having a hard time getting jugs to put our syrup in.

With this warm front coming in. More then likely we won't be boiling Maple weekend. Sap has slowed to almost nothing. Hoping for some cooler weather to recharge the trees. They need Freezing temps at night and warm days.

We apologize for not updating lately. But it has been a slow season. But that being said. We started boiling last week and should be the rest of this week! As long as mother nature plays along!

Well we can say it has been a different season. We have not made the amount we had intended.

Thanks mother nature.

By the way the forecast is looking, we will be boiling this Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and Monday evening may be the final boil of this year.

Saw this last night and it's a good way to understand why the sap runs from the trees and how. Also, why Sugar Makers look at this week's weather and feel a heavy weight looming - without freezing temps at night, the sap will stop flowing and the trees will start to bud, signaling an end to Maple Sugaring season. Most producers are at just above half of their normal yearly crop currently. The weather has not been good for us this year. Too cold for too long, not enough snow to insulate the trees when we get this warm weather and it has been windy which took heat away from the trees on days when temps were warm enough to run early on in March.

If you love Maple Syrup - enjoy these warm temps but say a prayer that we get some freezing temps at night to recharge the trees and keep sap flowing. :)

Mother nature is finally willing to work with us! It's been a slow start this year with cold temps. But now the sap is flowing! Don't forget that March is N.H. maple month! Get out and support local producers!

After spending the entire day chasing leaks in our lines. We finally have everything tight and flowing nice! We will be boiling tomorrow afternoon! Bring on the liquid gold!
