Yesterday evening, we were proud to host the Northwest Pennsylvania Innovation Beehive Network reception. The Beehive Network is made up of the Blasco Library, Edinboro University, Penn State Behrend, Gannon University, and Mercyhurst University. Each member helps to enhance business expansion and development in the Erie area. Mercyhurst hosted the reception in 2021 and again yesterday.

This afternoon we had the opportunity to host our annual Ignite Chopped Event! Our 3 teams, paired with Chefs Jenny, Leroy, and Nicola were tasked with creating an appetizer, dinner, and dessert for our judges! We had such a fun time watching these wonderful dishes come together and the hard work and creativity put in by our students and chefs!

Yesterday afternoon, our Senior General Manager, Lori, and Executive Chef Art had the chance to present about Mercyhurst Dining to our Ignite students on campus! We had a great time, enjoyed the questions we were asking, and the fun participation from the students. We also gave them some fun facts. We're excited to welcome them this afternoon for our annual Chopped event!

It's National Chocolate Day! We're looking at some of our favorite yummy chocolate 🍫 desserts made during the last school year! Starting with a delicious chocolate milkshake, chocolate-covered strawberries (which we offer around Valentine's Day😁), ooey gooey brownies from Bravo, and our churro bar at 501 Grille topped with the perfect amount of chocolate!

This past Saturday, Tony, Mike, Morgan, Ashlee, and Lori volunteered at the Pride on the Bay by handing out Eat'n Park Smiley Cookies. Our team supported one of our own, 501 Grille Supervisor Tony Gressley. Tony has served as Entertainment Director for the NWPA Pride Alliance for the past 12 years. He oversees the planning, coordination, and ex*****on of entertainment for the organization’s signature events. Throughout his tenure, he has cultivated relationships with performers, managed diverse lineups, and helped create inclusive and engaging experiences that celebrate the Q***r community while supporting the organization's mission of visibility, advocacy, and pride.
