Our tea packaging is now 100% home-compostable EVEN THE LABEL! If possible, don't put the empty bag in your landfill garbage, but put it somewhere that it can biodegrade.

Fresh coffee tastes like a concord grape. Sweet on the outside but sour and slimy around the seeds. Coffee pickers suck on the fruit to keep energized as they pick. It was 85 degrees in Guatemala and the harvest was just ending. I came back to Erie on Sunday and it was snowing. We sure do appreciate the pickers who send us good coffee to keep us warm and energized in our Erie winters.
I met approximately 20 different coffee farmers and they appreciate you more than you will ever know for buying their coffee. It is a mutual appreciation from both sides.

Come to the Small Business vendor market at 1020 Collective this Saturday from 10 to 4. Regan will be giving out samples of our coffee and selling crafts made from burlap coffee bags! They are very cool.

There will be another market on December 13th-14th if you can't make it this Saturday.

We met Hermilo Lopez of the La Laja Estate who grows the Mexico Honey process coffee that we buy each year. He showed us pictures of the farm and of the coffee being grown and we told him how much we appreciate his efforts! It's available now as single origin Espresso and unroasted.
