After 51 years, our Ellie is hanging up her apron. 💛
Eleanor Mello has been a part of the Panos family since 1975 — serving three generations of our family, and countless generations of yours. She has been more than an employee. She has been an anchor, a constant, and a local legend. If you've ever sat in her section, you know exactly what we mean.
Eleanor has a gift. No matter what kind of day she was having, she showed up with a smile, a laugh, and a warmth that filled the entire dining room. She treated every single person who walked through our doors like they mattered — because to her, they do. If you've ever heard her laugh echo across the restaurant, you already know — that sound is Panos.
This Friday, May 8th, is her last day. She will be here from 10am to 2pm, and we are inviting everyone who knows and loves her to stop by, give her a hug, and wish her well as she steps into a beautiful new chapter spending time with the family she adores.
We will miss her more than words can say. But don't worry — Ellie isn't going far. She'll always have a home here.
Ellie, thank you. From our family, from your regulars, from everyone whose day you made a little brighter — thank you. 🙏
