Ok. Sure. It's hot today. But it's not like Mustafar hot, and Arable Brewing Company has Rule of Two Czech Dark Lager on tap—ice cold and ready to pour. I've been told they have some other beers on tap, too, but the Rule of Two is the one that matters when Red Five Hotdog Co is standing by. We'll be hangin' out on the patio under the mister until 6:00, so come on down and get a cool one. I bet you could use it.

It's hard to believe it's been so long, but here we are. Today, Red Five Hotdog Company turns fifteen, and we've got a couple of things on the agenda for the day to celebrate. This afternoon, we're going to be out at Arable Brewing Company from 2:00-6:00. Then we're flying over to Blairally from 7:00-11:00 for Quality Trivia with Elliot Martinez! where, in addition to having the cart in our usual spot, we will be taking over the kitchen for a bit, and serving up a few special, classic hot dog menu items.
We hope to see you, and thank you all for giving us 15 years in business!!

Red Five Hotdog Co will be standing by at Willamette Valley Harley-Davidson today for their Ink & Iron Bike Night from 4-7pm with live music from Stone Hart, flash tats by the kids at Lifetime Tattoos, a Bikini Bike wash, and just in case you felt like something was missing, let's throw in some Monster Trucks. So put some wind in your face and bring your chariot down for a nice, cool rinse. Take in some tunes, and check out some bikes and trucks. Maybe get some new ink, and heck! Why not grab a frank or a brat while at it.

Hosted by Springfield German Import Auto Parts, this free Show & Shine and Swap Meet is going until 1:00pm. Grab your dads and bring ‘em out to see some cool classic VWs and Porches.

Red Five Hotdog Company will be standing by at the Farmers' Market Pavilion for Re-Imagine Earth Day this Sunday, April 13, from 2:00-6:00pm at 85 E. 8th Ave. in Eugene.

Hosted by the Materials Exchange Center for Community Arts (MECCA), BRING, Shift Community Cycles, City of Eugene Government Waste Prevention, and Waste Wise Lane County—a part of Lane County Waste Management, and sponsored by the Cultural Services, Downtown Program Fund with financial support from the Lane Council of Governments.

Come on down and connect with organizations and businesses promoting sustainability right here in your own communtity, and check out some eco-friendly products and services from local vendors.
Take in performances by artists who inspire environmentally responsible themes, and discover artisans who incorporate recycled, upcycled, or sustainable materials into their work. And of course, grab some delicious food from your local street vendors.

PSA:
We still have quite a few folks ask about where they can find us, and why the information they got from Google is wrong. So, as we approach the beginning of our 15th season this year, we thought it might be a good idea to reiterate that, as a truly mobile food vendor, we move around a lot, and our schedule can change rather dramatically from one week to the next. For that reason, we utilize exclusively the Street Food App for Eugene to share our weekly hours and locations. If we have something in our calendar, you can bet your Millennium Falcon it will be posted on the StreetFoodApp.

We've got a fair amount of stuff already scheduled for this Spring and even more going into Summer. And while we'll certainly still share here on Facebook many of the larger events that we're a part of, as well as any updates and general news about things we've got in the works, we won't necessarily be posting everything we have scheduled each day to this page. To be frank, social media just isn't very effective in that way, and that has become the case more and more as the years go by. And what ever you do, don't trust Google. Google is mostly lies that we can do little about.
