Pierogi pop-up alert.

Running these guys tomorrow evening for Sunday Night Football at McShane's Bar.

Potato,, onion and cheese pierogi, with McMustard and Sour Cream on the side, ontop of sautéed onions. 5 for $12, feel free to add bacon for a few more.

Served at 6, and like usual, served until they’re gone.

What an amazing show of support from the community the last few days. We, both me as an owner and us as a staff, have been incredibly humbled by the extent y’all have gone to show how important First National Taphouse was to all of you. Be assured Taphouse was just as important to us. We all will miss it. We’ve been reminded again and again today that our bar was not just a place of pleasure, but a place of refuge. A place of acceptance. For both our customers and for our staff. And we’re glad we could provide that comfort, and that y’all could reciprocate that comfort for us. Thank you all for your constant love, and your unending support, of a wacky little taphouse that tried to be a little different.

Please make sure to seek out and patron those establishments who truly keep their staff as their family. Support those places who help their community out of heart, not for optics. Give money to those who do this business out of love, not just for profit. There is heart in this industry, please support it, it’s hard to find.

The final trivia night (🥲) is still on, and we plan on it being a busy finale, so make sure to come down early to secure some seats! Trivia starts at 7!

It’s with a heavy heart that we announce that, after 10 fun filled years, First National Taphouse will be closing our doors on June 21st. It’s been a privilege to be a part of the downtown community and Eugene’s entire food scene. Come on down this weekend for one last plate of pierogis and a pint or two of delicious craft beer. Love y’all!

Lemongrass Beef Pierogi! A Vietnamese take on Polish pierogi, filled with thin sliced sirloin steak, lemongrass, cilantro, coconut, lime zest, spices, potato, and onion. Served with picked daikon radish and carrot, sour cream, and hoisin sauce. 4 for $10!

I was able to source some American made haggis, and thus the FDA will let me legally sell it commercially.

So, here is a VERY limited run of haggis pierogis at First National Taphouse right now. Filled with lamb haggis, turnips, and potato. Served with sour cream and a Scotch whisky mustard cream sauce

While supplies last, both with the pierogies and the whisky (we only have one bottle and good bit went into the cream sauce).
