OMG, who needs a good cry???? In preparing to do a podcast to tell my story of DMB Fan-dom & the fallen legacy of Stay. Social Tap + Table .... I came across these videos. The first was a video I did as a DMB contest that would gain exposure for my new restaurant. The 2nd was a video promo by Neil R Gordon to spotlight my dream that was being fulfilled beyond my wildest dreams. I am in absolute tears.

What Columbia County did to me & my family is an outrageous monstrosity to which I have no recourse. They took away my life, my dreams, and the legacy that was supposed to expand and thrive. And I can't do a thing about it. It's so hard to not have hate in my heart for the people who fought to put me out of business. I struggle daily with that. Lord give me strangth....

Friends of Stay. Social Tap + Table , I've been pretty quiet about the pending motion for reconsideration with judge Blanchard over the revocation of our alcohol license, and subsequent loss of our business. The devastation that the county's irrational decision caused for myself, my family, our work family, and our community, has been unimagineable. I have been paralyzed by the trauma of that and all of the other things that have happened since then. I literally am dealing with things as they come up (eating the elephant one bite at a time), and not dealing with a whole lot else. If you have reached out to me with no response - just know that your support is and was immensely appreciated.

Our motion hearing is set for Monday morning at 10am at the Columbia County Justice Center, courtroom #2. If you are able to come out in support, I welcome and appreciate it. No commentary will be allowed from the public, but it is an open hearing. If the license revocation is reversed, I would be able to one day continue my dream (albeit outside of CC), and the forgivable loan portion of my county-derived funding would be forgiven.

Light will be shed on the unfair treatment that was handed down by our county's administration, inside of the courtroom... instead of here on social media (Lord knows we REALLLLY want to!) So if you are able to come out in support, I will welcome you with a giant hug and probably some tears...
