Hello All!
Leslie & I are really excited about this announcement! We have been missing the musicians and their music we were able to offer at Under The Red Umbrella. Here is a great opportunity to take in one of our favorite groups again. I hope you will consider and take advantage of this opportunity to take in World Class musicians in your back yard. Leslie and I will most certainly be there! We hope hope to see some familiar faces again. Cheers!
Greetings Pearl Django fans in Everett and Snohomish County. We miss you guys and we REALLY miss playing at the Red Umbrella. It was always one of our fondest gigs. The crowd was right up close, the food and ambiance were both fabulous, and it always seemed to be a special and magical night whenever we played there. We truly miss our fans and we also miss Dave and Leslie, the proprietors of the Red Umbrella. They always accepted us as family and we are and will always be grateful for that.
We have been searching for a new venue in the Everett area and we are hoping that we have found a good one at the Tim Noah Thumbnail Theater. Corkie has been very helpful and welcoming, and we are hoping for a good turnout from our Sno-Co fans, but also hoping that you all would like to come and see the new iteration of Pearl Django. Our founding member, Neil Andersson is back with us again, and he sounds better than ever. We have another new guitarist, Tim Lerch, playing with us now and he is a world class soloist. We are finding that we have to work HARD to keep up with Tim’s great ideas and lovely phrasing. Both Troy and Ryan felt it was time to hang it up for a bit, but I know we have some stuff planned with Troy for this summer, so he can’t escape us very easily.
So, please come and listen to the new Pearl Django on Feb. 20 at the Tim Noah theater in downtown Snohomish. Show starts at 7:30 and it should be a wonderful time. And, Rick, David and myself will still be there making noise and causing trouble. All the best to you and hope to see you on the 20th!
