if you were chewing on whether to attend tonight's Eat It Up: Food Talks with Evan Mallett, consider chewing on these tastings he'll be serving up:

halibut ceviche with rhubarb sauce,
rhubarb tomato soup shots,
pulled pork and belly slider with rhu-b-b-q sauce and rhubarb pickled onion,
pineapple rhubarb upside-down cake,
