Okay after a very successful day, we treated ourselves with Blue Point Restaurant & Catering for their advertised family of four steak tip dinner for 54.00. It’s no secret that Blue Point is one of those iconic dual purpose small business’s, meaning not only are they amazing community advocates but the food is incredible (the seafood sampler) for example is the leading seafood value in our area. Now I was excited to try this. Nate drove all the way to Acushnet and picked it, took it home and here we are. First, I’m not really a red meat guy but these bourbon tips were charred perfect, tender and absolutely delicious. The mashed, homemade, creamy and buttery, the vegetable was a summer blend that complimented the smokey tips perfectly. It came with several pieces of cake like cornbread. It absolutely will feed a family of four and not only a treat but a terrific value. Blue Point, you did again. Bravo. This one is a must try. The roasted veg pasta in the second pic was Nate’s creation today but added some extra pizzaz!

A small fountain that’s gathering enough solar power to make a bigger splash. Big things start small. Thanks to our customer who is always so thoughtful that she brought us this little solar fountain for our birdbath. It’s the smallest of things that make life a huge success. We are very fortunate.
