Results are in. We won Gold for Best Steaks in the Willamette Valley & Silver for Best Tacos in the Willamette Valley! Check us out on Thursdays for award winning tacos-ground beef or shredded chicken and on Fridays for the Best steaks on the planet.

Today, Sunday we have Homemade Lasagna, served with salad and garlic bread, Pizza with up to four toppings, a couple of half racks of falling of the bine Baby Back Ribs and a Filet Mignon or two.

Happy Independence Day!
Unfortunately we are always closed on the 4th of July and this year is no exception. We will not be open on Saturday so we, and our staff, can celebrate the 4th of July with family and friends. Life is short, enjoy the ride.

Side note: Falls City is having an Independence Day celebration at the upper park (george kitchen park) where you will likely find us. Everyone is welcome to attend. Hope to see you there!

Today's rumor out of control: The Boondocks has sold and has new owners.

Let's clarify what's happening. It is unofficially official that a local gal couple from Monmouth are taking over ownership August 1st. They are a wonderful couple and we couldn't be more excited to turn our business over to these two incredible people. They are a perfect fit. They are motivated and eager to begin their adventure here in Falls City.

Lori and I (Laura) have worked very hard over the last 13 years to make the Boondocks a place that's warm, inviting & family friendly. We cherish our customers and we are grateful to have been blessed with meeting so many amazing people over the years. We will miss everyone! We are not leaving town, just moving on to our next adventure.

Our kitchen staff, Nick & Christine, will be staying and continuing to serve up some of the best food in the valley. Nick will be taking over the kitchen as Head Cook.
