Posted • Have you ever had a Korean rice hot dog?

The first time we ever had one was actually from a food stand at a summer festival in Japan and we’ve been hooked ever since.

If you’ve never had one allow me to explain! While American corn dogs are coated in cornmeal batter, Korean rice dogs are usually coated in a rice flour batter and panko making them more chewy and crispy.

Once cooked they’re rolled in sugar (you can omit if you want). You can also add sauces like mustard, sriracha mayo, ketchup, and my personal favorite, sweet chili sauce. They’re truly the best combination of sweet and salty!

These are from in Fayetteville, Arkansas where you can try a number of different rice dogs including:
• CLASSIC HOT DOG
• PREMIUM BEEF HOT DOG
• RICE CAKE (vegetarian)
• SQUID INK HALF AND HALF (mozza and hot dog)

• SWEET POTATO HOT DOG
• POTATO MOZZA DOG (vegetarian)
• POTATO HOT DOG
