The location at 1020 North Elizabeth Avenue had been a small neighborhood confectionery operated by Ben Finkelstein. This location goes back to the days when Elizabeth Avenue was a dirt and gravel road called Old Florissant Road. Paul's Market quickly established a reputation for outstanding quality and freshness, and the business steadily grew. In 1977, Paul's Market moved into the new building l

ocated immediately behind the original building. It is interesting to note that this physical moved took place with no interruption in business. Many happy, loyal customers helped to move the inventory to the new building overnight. Paul's has changed over the years but continues serving customers quality products with friendly service and convenience. Paul's Market is the premier provider of the freshest meats and the largest variety of cuts in the St. Paul's Market Deli features Boar's Head deli meats and cheeses, a premium product made with only the best ingredients. The 2008 addition of "Ole Hickory," a 2,000lb wood-burning barbecue pit, has Paul's cookin' up some of the best barbecue in St. And Paul's indoor and outdoor seating areas are the perfect place to enjoy that delicious barbecue, a burger from the Traeger grill, or many of the delicious daily specials.
