Formerly the Old Forge Life Saving Station operated under the US Coast Guard from 1909, the Fire Island Hotel & Resort located in Ocean Bay Park, Fire Island, NY is the last remaining station of its kind yet it started a new chapter in its history in 1989. After nearly 100 years of abuse of ocean breezes and salted air and water, it has been restored to provide amenities and service not offered an

ywhere else on the island. Aside from our popular in ground pool, our restaurant Hurricane's serves up good grub and the best legendary rocket fuels on the island. We are just a stone throw away from the pristine white sand beaches of the Atlantic Ocean where you will relax and enjoy your stay.
