🌭🌭🌭Hot Dog Eating Contest!! TONIGHT July 3 at the Parlor in Downtown Flora. 🌭🌭🌭
Doors open at 5pm. The contest will start once we reach critical mass of glizzy gobblers but most likely around 6pm.

🥇1st Place: $100 cash + 1st Place Trophy + free drink/appetizer
🥈2nd Place: $50 cash + free drink/appetizer
🥉3rd Place: $25 cash + free drink/appetizer
Parlor's Hot Dog Eating Contest Rules
1. Entry is 100% free, but space is limited so we might have to start turning people away once the sign-up list looks like a Black Friday line. First come, first served.
2. Prizes will be for Men’s and Women’s divisions. No birth certificates required. Probably.
3. You’ve got exactly 5 minutes to turn as many hot dogs into history as humanly possible. Think of it as a sprint, but with more sodium.
4. Official Hot Dog Definition: One bun + one dog = one hot dog. Condiments are okey-dokey (go wild, you animal). You may rip that thang apart, dunk buns in water like a true Joey Chestnut fan, and chase it down with any non-alcoholic drinks.
5. Stand behind the table. Hands only. No utensils, no forks, no sneaky blender hidden in your shorts. This is a competition, not a picnic.
6. “Reversal of Fortune” = instant disqualification. Yes, you guessed what it means correctly. If your stomach files for emancipation mid-contest, you’re done. The judges have seen things. They don’t want to see more things.
7. At the 5-minute mark, officials will count your conquered dogs. If you’re still working on a mouthful like a cow with cud, you get a generous 30 extra seconds to swallow. No spitting, no storing it in your cheeks like a human-hamster freak.
8. Tiebreaker: “3 Dog Eat-Off.” First one to completely demolish all three hot dogs wins. It’s basically a tiny, greasy version of Thunderdome. Two people enter, one person leave.
