Welcome to Grounds for Good, our monthly project at Mocha Lounge Dupont. Each month we spotlight one of our baristas, their go-to drink, and an organization they care about. For every order of their drink sold during the run, a percentage of the sale goes directly to their chosen cause.
Last round, you all ordered over 100 of Taylor’s drinks. Thank you all for showing your support, whether you stopped in and ordered Taylor’s drink, or shared our posts to let other’s know about Grounds for Good. We are grateful and so lucky to do this with you all!
This month we’re spotlighting Hannah! Hannah has been part of the Mocha Lounge Dupont team for nearly 3 years, starting as our main baker and is now the store manager. She brings 9 years of professional baking experience and a degree in Pastry Arts to our store.
Hannah’s drink of choice is a Lavender Honey London Fog, An Earl Grey tea latte lightly sweetened with honey and lavender.
Hannah’s chosen cause this round is the Schizophrenia and Psychosis Action Alliance, an organization who is to committed to advancing systemic change and promoting recovery through Research, Education & Care, and Advocacy & Public Policy. Hannah has chosen her organization based upon the experience of her sister who faces life with struggles directly related to the organization.
We’re looking forward to helping our community show up for Hannah, her sister, and S&PAA!
