I WANTED TO HAVE A WELL THOUGHT OUT POST OF UNDERSTATING MY FEELINGS BEFORE I MADE AN OFFICIAL STATEMENT WITHOUT DUE DILIGENCE

Romans 12 17-21 “ evil cannot defeat evil. Only good can defeat evil.”

It's moments like these that fill my heart with gratitude. I'm thankful to follow the Lord's teachings, read my Bible, and pray for everyone I know - my friends on Facebook, family, and even people I've met that consider me a foe.

I've never judged someone’s character based on their skin color or cultural background, and I'm grateful for that. I have been guilty of stereotyping cultures based on social norms….The Bible reminds us that we're all made in God's image, created in love, and meant to praise Him (Psalm 150:6).

There were times I didn't understand certain cultures, like the Middle Eastern culture, which was often portrayed negatively and introduced to me as “terrorists”.

But instead of harboring hate, I turned to the Bible and learned that God created everyone in His image (Genesis 1:27). That changed my perspective, reminding me to love and respect all people, regardless of their background. 🌟

As 1 John 4:8 says, 'Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.' Without the Lord's love in us, we're limited in our ability to truly see and love others as we should.

Without the Holy Spirit guiding us, we're stuck in our own fleshly perspectives, unable to see past our own biases and shortcomings (Romans 8:5-8).

But with God, we can break free from those limitations and love others as He loves us. Let's strive to be agents of love and light in a world that needs it now more than ever‼️

Important Update: The Wichita Street location of The Singing Chef Cafe is now closed.

After consultation with my attorney and code enforcement, we've made the decision to close the location due to unforeseen hazards that made it unsafe to continue operating.

I want to thank everyone who's supported us over the past 5 years. Your loyalty and encouragement have been invaluable. I'm sad that a standard agreement of repair couldn't be met, but I'm committed to doing what's best for the community.

The good news is that The Singing Chef Cafe is not going away! I'll be contacting offices, warehouses, schools, hospitals, and more to bring our food to you through pop-ups and events. And, I'm excited to announce that we're looking for a new location with more exposure and foot traffic, where we can offer alcohol and live entertainment, as well as utilize an oven to expand our menu.

We'll keep you updated on our progress and look forward to serving you again soon. Thank you for being part of our journey and for your continued support.

Dear Community,

The Singing Chef as a business is thriving and operating at a high pace. I was at the peak of my business with everything operating the way that it needs to. We were gearing up for a successful holiday season after having a very successful few months since summertime ended.

I am sad to announce that I am giving my 30 day notice for operations at The Singing Chef Café.

My building is just incredibly broken and it is dangerous for us to continue to operate here.

After many many many disputes with my landlord about fixing the building, we cannot come to an agreement.

So I regretfully announced that this is my last 30 days in operation at this location.

I will be popping up at different locations until I find a new location. God has clearly directed my path away from this location and I’m excited to see what is to come!

The final straw was last week when the rains were pouring down into all of our light fixtures in the entire building, filled up with water, causing an electric surge and damage to my café .

The roof on this building needs to be fixed. The pipes are not adequately installed. The inside roof has disintegrated. The front entryway floods anytime there is rain making it a disaster for customers and have lost many days not being able to open. Gigantic potholes that are against code enforcement in front of their café. I’m talking 8‘ x 3‘ potholes in front of both of my parking spaces. Impossible to have guests. There are many many many other problems so it just doesn’t logical to continue to operate here.
