The real ones know how instrumental of a role that Tina and Leaves played in our story. Even before the tea/book shop/bakery and beignet days, Tina has been a good friend, and her guidance and connections were intrumental in helping me (Trey) find our niche and footing. There is no better business therapist than Tina, and I'm grateful for the times she let me bend her ear at the St. Lous spot. She also gave us our first pop-up event well before we should have been ready, and it started the whole crazy dominos falling that lead us to today.

Leaves (and that dang sparking tea) will be missed, but their influence, impact, and legacy will continue strong. Please get out there and support them during this final summer.

🕷️ LOST & FOUND: SPIDER-MAN SPENT THE DAY AT DUSTY BISCUIT 🕷️

It appears Spider-Man stopped by Dusty Biscuit Beignets today and may have missed his ride back to New York.

While waiting to be claimed, he put in a full shift:

☕ Brewed coffee
🧾 Ran the register
🚪 Greeted customers
🫧 Helped with dishes
🍩 Conducted extensive beignet "quality control"
👀 Monitored suspicious activity on Main Street

Performance Review:

⭐ Customer Service: Excellent
⭐ Enthusiasm: Outstanding
⭐ Beignet Consumption: Concerning
⭐ Staying on Task: Questionable

A few notes from management:

• Claimed every break was "saving the city."
• Tried to expense three orders of beignets as "superhero fuel."
• Was repeatedly caught conducting additional "quality control" on the beignets.

If this Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man belongs to your family, he's safe, well-fed, and currently asking if employee discounts apply to superheroes.

Please stop by and bring him home before he learns how payroll works and demands back pay.

**UPDATE:** Spider-Man is now trained on the register, coffee station, dishes, customer service, and front-door security. At this point, we're not sure if he's lost or just covering someone's shift. 😂

You're looking at one of the TOP THREE favorite donut shops in all of DFW! 🎉⚜️🍩

We treasure the fact that DFW embraces our edgy style of donuts and knows it is hip to be square. We bring that 504 love to the 817 with pride. Our shop is small, but our dream is big.

It is so clear to us that we would not be where we are without each of you! Every memorable sugar bread bite is an investment in our dream, and we thank you from the bottom of our dusty hearts.
