Happy Father's Day! 💙

Today we're celebrating all the dads, stepdads, grandpas, bonus dads, father figures and the men who stepped up when it mattered most.

And tell us a favorite memory together! Mine? Starting beekeeping with my dad this past year. Turns out voluntarily hanging out with 50,000 bees is a great father- daughter bonding experience. 🐝🤣

🎻✨ We had the chance to make a cake for the incredibly talented violinist Itzhak Perlman when he performed at The Temple Theatre back in 2024, and seeing him share this post today was an amazing surprise and brought back all the memories. 🥰

We never take these opportunities for granted. It's pretty amazing that cake has given us the chance to create for so many artists, performers and just some reall cool people who bring joy to others. Sometimes we have to stop and remind ourselves just how lucky we are.

We're grateful for every single event we get to be a part of - from birthdays and graduations to weddings and everything in between. It truly means the world to us. Supporting our family doing what we love....that's the real icing on the cake. 🎂

✨ A little full-circle magic moment for us... ✨

When we won Cupcake Wars on the Food Network years ago, our host was none other than Justin Willman! Fast forward to this week... we got the chance to make a cake and cookies for him and his crew when he came to Saginaw and performed at the Temple Theatre last night! 🤯

And because a regular cake just felt... too normal... we pulled a little magic trick of our own and made him an upside-down hanging cake. 🎩🐰✨

We spend a lot of time stressing over details, so seeing people smile, laugh and do double-takes is exactly why we do what we do. 🤩

🎂📺 We got to hang out with Nachai at WNEM today and talk about the Dot Cakes that have apparently taken on a life of their own! 😂

It's a little surreal seeing a version of something we have been making since we opened in 2010 turn into such a conversation piece, but we're definitely not complaining. We had a blast chatting cakes, sprinkles and all things sweet.

If you've been seeing the Dot Cakes popping up everywhere and wondering what the fuss is about, they're hanging out in the bakery if you'd like to try one. Or, if you have a specific color combo in mind, just give us a call and we'll make one for you!
