I have been a little late in posting some things here on the page but we have some news…
It is with a heavy heart that our inspiration behind Angie’s Bread, a long time customer turned into best friend, lost her battle with cancer last week.
I created Angie’s Bread prior to her passing, as a way to raise money for those going through treatments just like she did fighting the good fight. What Angie’s Bread allows is with every purchase, 50% of the proceeds go towards any of the goods sold at The Hollow Spot to be delivered to those going through treatments absolutely free. They pay for nothing. Not the goods, not the gas, nothing.
I am extremely glad that Angie got to be on the receiving end. She also was given plenty of hugs which come with no order necessary.
I believe love, support, and a bit of bread help with the fight and are a great combo for a loved one giving it their all. I remember Angie telling me once or a few times that she was so glad that my bread settled her stomach on days when treatment was harsh and she couldn’t eat much.
On a more personal note. Thank you Angie for being a great customer and one of my best friends. You were the most beautiful person inside and out and I’m going to miss you something terrible. I’m so thankful for every hug and every I love you. Until we see each other again… hugs and love always.
