🚨 Remodeling and business update! 🚨
Been a few days since an update because, well, we had to wait for the cement to dry!
The next steps in the seating area were to apply moisture mitigation to the cement, apply self-leveler, and a big step today is going to be sanding the self-leveler and starting to out down the vinyl plank flooring!! Very excited for this step to get the seating area to start taking shape!
We also pulled all the paneling from the walls, pulled down all of the advertisements and signage, and even took down the bowling counter to make way for the work to be done finishing the drywall, texture, and paint. Whew! We have some fun plans for a few really exciting upgrades to the bowling area, stay tuned!
For the very large majority, plans have stayed on course, which is what you hope for in remodeling. There is one thing that unfortunately had to be pushed back due to the product not being able to be shipped to us in time, and that is the carpeting. We won't be able to start installing that until it is delivered, putting us behind schedule on that portion. 😥. Due to that change in schedule, we made the decision to cancel the Summer Sweeper event for 7/15. We will be back on 7/22 with the sweepers, and at that point, we will have everything done except the carpeting, which will be having us set up and ready to handle the amount of bowlers that we have for the sweepers.
Our Tuesday practice league this week will still bowl as planned.
