We are a local family owned business, and as such, we have a history. Born and raised in Greece, Antonia and Steve Sotiropoulos emigrated to America in pursuit of the American Dream. With no formal education, and barely able to speak English, Steve and Antonia initially struggled to survive, they found work in a restaurant, doing what they love. Through the subtle international language of food th

ey communicated with ease. They soon saved up enough money to open up their own restaurant, Falmouth House of Pizza, the first House of Pizza in Maine. With an unwritten business plan of unbending principals to keep the recipes authentic and traditional to the Greek culture, the food fresh, the restaurant clean, and the prices family friendly, the business grew into a local establishment, with deep roots. In the summer of 2007 after 30 years of excellence, Antonia and Steve opened up their second restaurant, Antonia's Pizzeria in Freeport ME. Based on the same unwritten business plan for excellence Antonia's Pizzeria continues to use 100% olive oil in his crust. We still make and mix the pizza and spaghetti sauce by hand using over 12 different seasonings. We still prepare, make and cook our meatballs by hand. From the fresh chicken to the fresh sirloin steak all cleaned and seasoned by hand we stand by our original plan. And this is where we can promise our customers that they will be getting fresh food loaded with flavor. But this why all our customers rave about our food and we don't want to let any of them down.
