Hello everyone, sorry for going MIA for the last 2 months. We’ve just been dealing with a lot of unfortunate family events. At the end of June we unexpectedly lost my mother, followed by our beloved family dog, and all the while Edd has been suffering some pretty debilitating health issues. Unfortunately, the health issues have become urgent and life threatening. He has lost the ability to walk and function on his own, he is extremely anemic requiring several blood transfusions and in excruciating all over body pain. He is currently in the middle of what is now a long hospital stay, and unfortunately we have more questions than answers. Around the clock morphine does not even begin to touch the pain that he is in.
That being said, we have decided to let our restaurant go at the moment, so we can focus on the ice cream and sandwich shop that will be more manageable for our family’s situation. We are close to completion on the renovations and hope to be open to see you all again very soon. There may be plans to re-open or incorporate breakfast there, but for now our main goal is getting Edd better. Thank you for all of your care and support. ♥️
