To our beloved okaholics,

After much consideration, we as a family have made the difficult decision to close this chapter of our lives and say goodbye to Oka.

For us, it’s very bittersweet. 18 years ago, the four of us (Dawn, Noy, Jett and Pam) decided to go into business together. What would follow is something we could have never imagined.

Did you know 60% of new restaurants fail within the first year? In fact, 80% of restaurants usually cease operations before the 5 year mark. It’s not lost on us that we ended up on the other side of those statistics because of all of you and this community we built together.

We can’t thank you enough for your support over the last 18 years. It’s been our greatest honor getting to know you, hearing your stories, sharing laughs and watching your families grow.

The bonds we have formed with our family of Okaholics is irreplaceable — a unique experience that has changed us all for the better. You’re much more than patrons, you’re family and family is forever. ♥️

We will maintain our normal business hours until Friday, November 18, 2022, which will be our last day in business. We hope to see you soon!

Unfortunately, we have been unable to keep up with the demand while we’ve been short-staffed. So, we have decided to close until next week, when the gang can all come back together.

Due to a death in the family, we will be short staffed for the next week. In order to best accommodate your needs, we will ONLY be accepting takeout orders during this time. Effective immediately, from Thursday, January 13 until Saturday, January 22 from 12pm to 7:30 pm.

Thank you all for allowing us to do what we love — sharing great food, insightful conversations and creating lasting memories.

We’ll be closed Thursday, Nov. 25 - Saturday, Nov. 27 to spend time with our families. We will be back on Tuesday, Nov. 30. Be safe and have a happy thanksgiving!
