Our quality control inspector takes his job VERY seriously.

I made a batch of cornbread muffins using our Stirred Kitchen Co. Cornbread Mix, and of course our littlest taste tester had to make sure they were up to standards!

One of my favorite parts of owning a food business is getting to share these little moments with my family.

Honestly, I'm not sure there's a tougher food critic than a 3-year-old. 🤣

Anyone else tired of figuring out what's for dinner every single night?! 😂

That's exactly why I love our Cowboy Soup! A hearty, homemade-style dinner with simple ingredients, no added preservatives, and none of the complicated prep. Can confirm I will not make you pull out a knife!

And the best part? You can make it on the stovetop OR in your Instant Pot! 🙌

🤠 WHAT YOU NEED

- 1 package Stirred Kitchen Co. Cowboy Soup Mix
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 5 cups beef broth

STOVETOP

1. Brown ground beef in a large pot.
2. Add remaining ingredients and stir.
3. Bring to a boil, then simmer for about 20 minutes, or until everything is tender.

INSTANT POT

1. Sauté ground beef.
2. Add remaining ingredients and stir.
3. Pressure cook on HIGH for 5 minutes.
4. Natural release for 10 minutes, then release remaining pressure.

That's it! One pot, a few simple ingredients, and dinner is handled.

This right here is exactly why I started Stirred Kitchen Co.

Because sometimes you WANT to cook a homemade dinner, but between work, errands, and everything else life throws at you, sometimes you just don't have the time or energy.

And that's where our mixes come in!

Jenny shared this photo of our Pot Pie Soup and Garlic & Herb B**r Bread, along with the sweetest message. And honestly, she summed up what I'm trying to do with this little business perfectly.

Real homemade meals, just without all the extra work.

Have you been inside Market House Collective in Oakhurst yet?! 👀

This place is seriously so cool! There are 25+ local vendors packed into one shop, and you can find a little bit of everything. I swear every time I go I come home with something new!

And can we talk about the back room?! If you've been here before and didn't know there was a whole other room to shop, you're definitely going to want to go back! There's even MORE stuff tucked away back there!

Of course, you'll also find Stirred Kitchen Co. stocked with all kinds of easy dinners, dips, soups, and other goodies. So if you've been wanting to try our mixes, this is one of the places you can grab them!

I just love shops like this. You get to discover so many small businesses in one place, and there's always something fun to look at.

Central Valley friends… I think we're in for an interesting winter!

We kicked off a little winter weather today! The skies are dark, the thunder was a little wild for a minute, and we're already seeing some power outages around the Central Valley. My son's school was out of power most of today!

Apparently this might just be a preview of what's coming. Forecasters are predicting a Super El Niño this winter, I had no idea that was even a thing. California potentially can get a LOT more rain than usual. I LOTHE the rain just in case anyone was wondering.

So here's your friendly reminder to get that pantry stocked BEFORE winter kicks off.

One of the things I love about our Stirred Kitchen Co. soups and skillet meals is that they're shelf-stable and easy to keep on hand. And if the power goes out, you can still make them on a camp stove!

If we're going to be dealing with crazy weather this winter, dinner can at least be one less thing to worry about.

When I started Stirred Kitchen Co., I had a goal. I wanted to make it easier for families to get a homemade meal on the table without spending hours in the kitchen.

As a mom of three boys, I know the dinnertime struggle. PLUS holding your breath hoping everyone will just eat the darn dinner you just made.

So when someone tells me their boys think my Beef Stroganoff is the BEST they've ever had, it means more than they probably realize!

Every mix is made and packed by me, and knowing they're making their way into your kitchens and becoming part of your family dinners is honestly one of my favorite parts of doing this.

I've been working on this packaging update for MONTHS, and I'm so excited to finally share it with you guys!

All of my soup mixes and skillet meals have officially gotten a makeover! I wanted packaging that not only looked more professional, but also made it easier to see exactly what you're getting, how many people it serves, and just how simple it is to make a homemade dinner.
