It it with extreme sadness to announce the passing of Phil
Aldridge.
Phil passed on November 7th after a short battle with cancer.
He was a mainstay of the Celtic band 1066 which played quite often at the Front Street Alehouse in Friday Harbor.
Coming to Friday Harbor was always felt like “coming home” as Phil said quite often on those memorable visits.
Phil leaves behind his wife Barb, his son, Michael, daughter Julie and two grandchildren.
The three remaining members of 1066, Asger, Jimmy and Dave will miss him greatly.
Phil was a true friend to all.
Phil’s memorial celebration will be held on December 22, 2023 at Fraternal Order of Eagles in Abbotsford BC at 1 PM. All are more than welcome to attend.
