Riptide Café was created to provide San Juan Island visitors with the highest quality hand crafted coffee and espresso drinks. Using direct trade coffee from our partners at Stumptown Coffee, we craft every drink by hand with expertise and the attention to detail that makes ours a great cup of coffee. Located just steps from the San Juan Island ferry terminal in the quaint village of Friday Harbor

, Riptide Café is the only coffee shop along the Friday Harbor waterfront. Stop in to have a freshly brewed cup of Stumptown Coffee, sample our baked-fresh pastries and muffins highlighting natural and organic ingredients. Pair Friday Harbor’s best coffee with our in-house featured pastries. Riptide Café also features Seattle Bagel breakfast Sandwiches and a variety of bagels. New menu items, featured baked goods, and savory treats are added daily.
