Good morning to my amazing guests, family of customers, and friends. I am writing a post this morning to announce a very heavy hearted and difficult decision. For numerous reasons, but primarily for the needs of my children, whom will always be my first priority in life…. I have decided to permanently close the doors of our beloved restaurant on Monday, September 2nd, 2024. Our last day of service will be Sunday, September 1st.
No part of life is the same without my husband, Antonio. After his passing, I have had the support of an amazing family, dear friends, and an absolutely outstanding, incredible staff, to keep what we started together going strong. It has not been without enormous adversity at times! Now however, after almost 3 years, it has become extremely evident to me that meeting the needs of caring for my family as a single parent is not consistent with running a supper club style restaurant, especially as 3 of my children are returning to school this fall.
We have built so many bonds in our community, and with the loyal guests who have shown up each week to enjoy our food without fail. We have shared so many meals and celebrated so many special moments with all of you. It has been an honor to do this work, and I am so grateful.
I do wish to allow our valued guests some time to use any gift cards that have been purchased, or loyalty rewards that you have remaining. This must be done by our closing date.
I would also welcome the opportunity to provide excellent references for staff members that will be seeking a new employment.
It would be impossible to express the depth of gratitude that I have for my work family, and the loyal guests that have been by our side for all the ups and the downs of the last 7 years. You will have my heart always!
