After earlier comments on our post regarding the senior meal program, we feel it's important to reassure our awesome customer base, current and future, that we are a family oriented establishment. We greatly respect and appreciate our senior citizen population, here in Fullerton and the entire area as a whole. With complete certainty, we strive to keep our customers fed, safely. It is important at this point that the public is aware of some other FACTS. When lent was upon us, the senior meal program did not offer non meat options to our primarily Catholic local seniors. We gave them the option to order fish, and the state was not happy with this. The senior meal menu called for some form of meat every Friday during lent. We have been making sure to cater to our seniors, while the state didn't acknowledge or respect their religious beliefs. We then called the supervisor of the senior meal program and received approval to offer fish. Our representative that was here in the building said we were not allowed to do this, and was visibly and verbally very upset, in the presence of our patrons, that we were not conforming to her demands. On April 30th, our establishment had a state health inspection done, and we were passed and have continued to be open since then. This inspection is public record. You just have to Google health state inspections for Family Way Restaurant. You will see our passing score there. We hope that most understand that social media can destroy a business. One can not always believe everything you hear. We ask that you come in and see for yourselves. Tonight just so happens to be Prime Rib night. Stop on out and let us serve you! We will be happy to give you our smiles, and show you how much we care for our customers. We can't wait to see you here!!!
