OK, anyone who knows me I like to give credit where it is due.

The Texas Rattler™ 2027 Banner with its new motto "THEY WORK WHEN OTHERS WON'T" was fist heard from one the owner of some high quality fishing lures at a fishing show when he came over to our table, looked my son and I right in the eye and then pointed to our jigheads and said: "They work when others won't".

For the past 23 year, as the inventor and pioneer of rattling jigheads I never produced soft plastics.

I really enjoyed promoting quality soft plastic manufacturers and helping improve their sales and their customers ability to improve their catching:cast success ratio.

That enjoyment of helping other small bizs and soft plastic lure manufacturers prosper led to me creating the Rockport Fishing Expo, which will be in it's 9th year next year.

I have truly enjoyed helping many soft plastic lure manufacturers over the years, giving many of them a home to make their money during the COVID years when other fishing shows were closed.

So who said it: "They work when others won't" ?

Texas Rattler™ is proud to announce that it has moved into a new building and have doubled our shop space so we can hire more people to meet the growing demand for our terminal tackle, and this shop has an Executive Office adjoining it.
Texas Rattler was born in the rubble of Rockport when Hurricane Harvey leveled Rockport and Fulton, so much so, that some biz's didn't rebuild and many locals lost their jobs.
Watching the LLg'ers and HS Showcase Baseball players I had Coached and Managed for 14 years were now on a tough road to hoe as those who didn't go to college had just begun their working careers. __ Many vets needed an outside source of income.
So I set out to improve on my 1st US Patent, earn another US Patent so I couldn't be copied, and provide some good long term jobs for some local Rockport/Fulton citizens who grew up here or came home from serving the USA.
⭐️Promises made, ... Promises kept. ___ Mission accomplished on all fronts.
None of this could have happened without the support of our customers, Guides and Tourney Anglers and to them we have to say a huge "THANK YOU".
There are more exciting things on the way, as we develop lures for both the bay anglers and new lines for the gulf anglers, .... so stay tuned.
