Lil sausage, peppers, and onions to get your day going.

This has been my go-to pizza for the last few weeks.

Freshly shredded whole milk mozzarella, roasted red peppers, yellow onion, and Falters Fine Meats Italian sausage.

Sometimes I keep some sausages in my pocket for emergency situations.

Like…

🚙 Stuck in traffic because someone drove into a building again? BOOM. Pocket sausages.

⚡ Getting shocked trying to fix a GFCI outlet? BAM. Pocket sausages for the mood boost.

🔥 It’s 8,754° outside and the thought of turning on the oven makes me punch that air? You already know… pocket sausages.

People carry emergency snacks.

I carry emergency sausages. It’s a lifestyle.

🚨 Summer sausage season is here 🚨

I’ve spent the last three weeks complaining about the weather.

It’s hot.
It’s humid.
My shirt has become one with my body.

The only thing keeping me from filing a formal complaint against summer is this pizza.

🌭 The Big Ween:

Freshly shredded whole milk mozzarella, thick cut Falters Fine Meats bacon, Cheddar Devils Smoked Sausage cheddar sausage, roasted corn, black pepper ranch, and green onion.

It’s smoky, cheesy, ridiculously good, and somehow makes 93° feel… slightly less offensive.

Not much less.

Just enough.

I should probably admit something…

I have 42 chickens 🐥🐥🐥(and I might get more soon!)

Five of them are roos, which means they’re really just the HR supervisors who help remedy fights amongst the flock.

🥚The other 37 girls are the real MVPs🥚

Back in 2022 I had our little chicken “farm” approved by the Dept of Agriculture to become a small egg production facility! Which was quite the process, but I’m so glad I did it because these girlies can help make our cookies‼️

Every week they keep me stocked with fresh eggs, and those eggs eventually make their way into our Cookie Nerds cookie dough.

It’s one of my favorite little behind-the-scenes things that most people don’t know.

We use fresh eggs from my own flock because I genuinely think they make our cookies even better.

So the next time you’re enjoying a Cookie Nerds cookie, there’s a pretty good chance one of my girls helped make it happen.

Nothing screams summer like bacon and wieners with your friends.

Now, over the years we’ve tried to make hot dog pizzas and honestly… they were all pretty terrible.

Then Cheddar Devils Smoked Sausage came into our lives and the sky opened up, the sun shined brighter (sorry bout that), and a pizza loaded up with bacon and cheddar sausages was born.

The Big Ween is topped with freshly shredded whole milk mozzarella, thick cut bacon, cheddar sausages, roasted corn, then finished with our new black pepper ranch and some green onions.

I’m not saying that the fireworks over the weekend were for this, but you can’t say they weren’t.

Summer is about cookin weiners on the grill but since it’s 8,000,000° outside, we’ll take it from here‼️

We got together with Cheddar Devils Smoked Sausage to get those delicious cheddar sausages on a pizza 🕺
