Man! What a remarkable 13 year ride!
Our last day open will be Sunday, September 29th!
To all of our catering partners, have no fear, we will still be fulfilling all catering orders and obligations moving forward.
We opened our Gahanna location 10 years ago come October 1st, and while I debated back and forth should I renew my lease for 5 more years, ultimately I decided to go out on top rather than struggle through food cost uncertainties, labor woes, who’s going to be our next President, and ultimately a sector that may become obsolete within the next 10 years.
But no one can deny Myself and created something special 13 years ago in the back of that small kitchen inside a gyro shop in Louisville! This idea that started out as a gourmet oatmeal line, which was only supposed to be a temporary pop-up shop took us around the world, kid. No matter where we stand in life, no one can erase the foundation we laid when it comes to gourmet breakfast.
To Block properties, thank you for taking a chance on 26 year old with a dream 10 years ago; I know my rent payments put at least a couple of your kids through college! And the opportunity you gave me will allow me to do the same with my children! To the quietest, but most solid part of SuperChef’s, my lawyer, my partner, my right hand, thank you for all your contributions to this company, especially the ones that may go unnoticed, I noticed! Tell Pops I got him for life!
Every employee, every supporter, every guest, every person that wrote a review, liked and shared, every commenter, every food critic, every picture taker, everyone we were blessed to interact with along this journey, THANK YOU!!!!
To my beautiful wife, thank you for all your support, I finally got the weekends off. To my moms and pops thank you for holding me down through this journey, my brothers, sisters, children, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!
