What a weekend!
Jean and Jim have been amazing venue owners, operators, and friends to me and USA-BBQ team.
From the very beginning, they gave me an opportunity to do what I love through USA-BBQ, and I’ll always be grateful for that. Cedar Run Brewery became more than just a venue, it became a place where I was able to fine-tune my craft in catering, concessions, customer service, and relationship building.
We collaborated on many successful events over the years, and Jean was never shy about sharing ideas and suggestions to help me improve. In fact, the smoked wings and smoked bratwursts that so many people enjoy today were both ideas she suggested during a Super Bowl event at the brewery. They’ve been customer favorites ever since.
One thing I’ll never forget is the warm welcome Jim and Jean gave me and the USA-BBQ team every time we arrived:
“Good morning! How are you doing today?”
It may seem simple, but what better way is there to start the day than being around genuinely happy people who care about others?
I am thankful that our paths crossed and that I was given this opportunity. I don’t take it lightly. I appreciate every conversation, every event, every challenge, and every memory we created together.
I’m also grateful for every catering referral Jean sent my way. Many of those referrals turned into repeat customers and lasting relationships that helped USA-BBQ grow.
As Cedar Run Brewery closes its doors, I want Jim and Jean to know that their impact extends far beyond the brewery itself. They helped create opportunities, build relationships, and support small businesses like mine.
Thank you for believing in USA-BBQ from the beginning. Thank you for the memories, the friendship, and the opportunity.
Wishing you both nothing but happiness, success, and new adventures in the next chapter.
❤️ Craig
