Good afternoon family and friends. If you plan to attend my mothers Memorial Service on Friday at 11AM, please note that there is a parking garage directly across the street from the church, there is parking available in the Giant parking lot near the church and if you are lucky, there may be some street parking. You will not be able to park in the lot next to the church because it doesn't belong to the church.

Details for my mother’s memorial service. Thank you to EVERYONE that has called, sent a text, sent a DM and even showed up. From the bottom of my heart thank you. This is soooooo hard but she prepared me for these moments and we gonna send my girl off right with a celebration!! If you can wear bright colors please do. Thank you!

It is with a broken yet sincere heart that I announce the passing of my mother, Chef Lynn aka Momma Lynn. She departed this world surrounded by love and family on 4/27/26. She touched many lives, prayed for many and would be a blessing beyond measure to all those that she came across. She always remembered people’s names and poured nothing but positivity into the atmosphere! If you were fortunate enough to visit LA Cafe please remember the great moments you had with her! She will be missed by many.

Thank you to those that kept in contact with her since the stores closing, it meant more to her than you can image. When the service details are available I will be sure to post them here.

Good Morning Family and Friends.

I would like to start off by saying we will be closed the rest of this week. Most of you know that for several months I've been running the Café by myself. People want to be paid but don't want to work.

I love what I do and I love serving you all. Unfortunately its not possible for me to Cater and run the cafe by myself at the same time.. So when I have catering or life situation, I have to close the Cafe.

I'm hiring for part time help, looking for good people with integrity, work ethics, responsible, good attitude and want to work. I'm looking for people who I can train to run the Café. So that when we have catering jobs we dont have to close the Café.

I appreciate you all for your understanding and patience. If you know of someone with these qualities please send them to us. The hours are from 11am to 3pm, Wednesday thru Friday. I understand you love the food and want me to be open.

But until I can get some help I have to make decisions on what makes sense when I have catering jobs. Thank you kindly for working with me thru these days. We will be open next week. Love you all.
