The Gallup Farmer's Market is opening for the 2023 season! Mark your calendars to join us May 20th :) We'll be introducing a new special flavor. Stop by to see what it is!

When: Saturdays, 8:30 - 11:30am
Where: Courthouse Square, next to Camille's Cafe
What: There are often vendors selling other baked goods, vegetables, plants, and more.

Bring your reusable shopping bags, invite a coworker, meet up with a friend, and come enjoy a (hopefully) sunny Saturday morning downtown :) If you have any questions, please let me know.

"Sourdough starter (also called starter culture) is a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast (SCOBY) that's used as a natural leavening agent.

Mix equal parts of flour and water together, leave at room temperature and allow the fermentation process to occur. Bacteria and yeast in the flour and air around you enables the microbes to convert the sugars in the flour into ethanol, carbon dioxide and acids.

Carbon dioxide makes your sourdough bread rise. Acids give the sourdough bread its unique flavor. Enzymes produced by the bacteria pre digest the flour, giving sourdough bread its wonderful health benefits."
