Taken around 1968 in Sonny's Place. If you look closely, you can see a very young Larry Puccetti to the left and up against the wall. 4 medical students at the bar from left to right, and what appears to be "Floyd the Barber" from the Andy Griffith Show,.... but actually are long time locals, Buster and his son-in-law, Troy Craft.

I've shared this one before, but since I've been posting about the Vassallo brothers, who where Jr's uncles, I thought this would be good to repost. This was during WW2 , and that is their father in the center. All the brothers enlisted, and those who were too old signed up to be CB's.

There were 6 Vassallo brothers, all of which served in WW2. I think this is Roy and Willie. If I'm wrong, my cousins will correct me. Fun fact is that they also had musical talents and made records that were played at local radio stations. Known as the Vassallo Boys according to Jr.

30 years ago, the UTMB School of Medicine Alumni insisted that Jr. Puccetti attend a special alumni gathering in Austin, Texas. Upon his arrival, Lawrence Puccetti Jr. found out that the party was in his honor. The UTMB School of Medicine Alumni had established a scholarship in his name for years of being a second father to many students over the years.

Awhile back, Greg's family popped in looking for his plaque and we couldn't find it. Due to Hurricane Ike, many of the plaques were damaged or lost. Today , while doing my morning inspection, there it was, I found Greg Harrington's plaque, hiding in plain sight.
